The soon-to-be-built Riverport project is a great opportunity for Jasper County to grow, prosper, and share equally in the benefits of South Carolina and Georgia’s thriving economy. The project is going to bring thousands of good-paying jobs, $150 million for schools, and new investment to our community, including things like a hospital, a new grocery store, and a new school for our children.
In addition, the new exit 3 and the widening of I-95 will reduce traffic and provide a much-needed hurricane evacuation route for current and future residents.
Allowing this development project to continue will positively impact this community for decades to come and help address the economic challenges faced by Jasper County residents. Please support the project when you reconsider the initial master plan.
